Science North is reimagining leadership development with Leading Blue, an immersive experience that builds better leaders through skills-building, strategy and self-awareness. Hosted at Science North, this half- or full-day retreat helps organizations cultivate leaders who think strategically, act with purpose and lead with confidence.

Liz Ott, Science North’s senior manager of learning and development, will lead the program. Ott brings expertise in leadership, emotional intelligence, innovation and adult learning. She has delivered results-driven programs for clients such as Scotiabank and AbbVie as well as leading academic institutions, including Duke CE and McMaster University.
“Strong leadership doesn’t happen by accident,” Ott said in a release. “Too many managers are thrown into leadership roles without the training to succeed. Leading Blue changes that — one immersive experience at a time.”
